Before you start your personal training sessions you will be invited to a consultation to discuss your goals, any previous or existing injuries, training likes and dislikes and what you are looking to achieve. Your trainer will use all the information provided to put together your personal training programme so that you can work towards your goals, even outside of your personal training sessions!
You will also have a series of health tests and measurements done so that you can start tracking your progress from the moment you leave the consultation.
All information provided and discussed with your trainer will be treated in confidence.
SO HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU ARE PROGRESSING?
We will select a series of tests suitable for your goal so that you know you are progressing in the right direction. Even if it's weight loss, progress can not always be measured solely by what number is on the scales!
Strength and conditioning in its simplest form is the practical application of sports science to enhance movement quality.
Using biomechanics and physiology of exercise we will identify you weaknesses and strengths, in order to create a bespoke training plan to enable you to become the best athlete you can be.
Firstly we will concentrate on movement quality to help improve your performance, secondly we will also focus on injury prevention combined in a bespoke periodised programme built around your season.
Strength and conditioning used to be considered solely for athletes, but more people now seek the knowledge that a strength and conditioning coach has to offer. Utilising plyometrics, speed and agility, core stability, weight training, aerobic capacity training and much more depending on each persons individual needs.
